The second chapter of How Linux Works? suggested that I read The Linux Command Line and that's exactly what I did. I am four chapters in and the book definitely does a better job of teaching how to master the command line. I practised basic commands one more time and I can feel get more comfortable with the command line interface.
I also took advantage of it being a lazy Sunday and found time to articulate what my expectations are from the technology I plan to use in my life.
